Hi, I'm looking for a pack I can use on a 3 day/2 night run that I have coming up in the fall. 35 miles/day. What weight capacity do you recommend for this? Will it be overloaded with 8 kg? I'm concerned the lack of a waist belt will make it uncomfortable with a heavier load. Thoughts? Thanks!
The Revolutiv 24L Race Vest was specifically designed for multiday runs and can easily carry 8kg (17.6lbs). It is a favorite pack for 7 day self supported stage races requiring ample gear. We would recommend keeping the weight to a maximum of 20lbs or about 9kg. The optional front pack can also help secure the pack as its adds addition support and can help distribute the weight more to the front for a more balanced carrying capacity.
Hi there! This pack looks awesome, but i'd like to understand more where the additional hydration bladder would hook on to. Does it go onto the main compartment, and if so are there supports and a convenient exit hole for the hose? I feel like seeing a picture with the hydration pack attached would be really helpful. Thanks!
The Revolutiv 24L Race Vest has an internal sleeve between the back panel and the main compartment that helps to secure a hydration bladder. There is a Velcro hanger at the top of the neckline that can hold any standard bladder. The hose can then run through the main compartment of the vest and out the top of either shoulder. Hope this helps answer your question. Please let us know if we can provide any additional information.
Hi - I am 158cm tall and chest 82ccm and i want to ask about REVOLUTIVE 24L VEST: would it be fitting well for my 7 days cross desert stage run ? I wander what is the LENGH of the vest and if it would sit on my lower back or end before my waist? Thank you
The Revolutiv 24L in a size small is 44cm (17.3in) from the center of the neck to the base of the back. On our 5ft 8in model the vest goes down to roughly the center of the lower back.
